More About LED Video Wall Set Ups
There are a few types of LED video walls, picture boards, video boards and video displays to consider. Sometimes a video wall may be multiple TV's connected together to display a single video. Commonly found in department stores, but not practical for special events.
When booking an LED video wall rental, you want to take into account a few things: Size, Scale, Brightness, and Sharpness.
LED Video walls are built with many small sections. Some are IP65 and some are indoor only. When booking an indoor event, an indoor video wall will be sharper and be in better condition that an outdoor wall. Sometimes the pixels in a video wall panel can die and you will see a black pixel in the video wall. This is more common with an outdoor wall and less noticeable at an outdoor event.
When booking an outdoor event. be sure to rent an outdoor IP65 rated video wall. An outdoor video wall is twice as bright as an indoor video wall and will work well in direct sun light. An indoor video wall or projector and projector screen will be washed out by sunlight if used outdoors.
How to connect your laptop or camera to the video wall?
The video wall is connected to a processor with multiple inputs. Your computer, camera, or iPhone can connect to the video wall processor and will be outputted to the video screens. The processor has HDMI, SDI 3G, DVI as well as VGA inputs.
Audio routed through your computer will be sent to our mixer and your video wall display on the video wall and out the speaker system.
We provide an audio visual technician at all of our events to set up and operate your video wall and audio system.
